The Library of the Unwritten by A.J. Hackwith
3.0
Interesting concept but the characters were a bit unlikable till about 60% through where they started to develop and hints and uncovering of secrets began to happen. It was sloe to begin with too. The last 40% had more a movement of what a fantasy should have though the language and writing style would be more suited to a romance novel. This I did find making to read hard and is like Hive (scfi written in contemporary style) where the last part of the book was more interesting. I can see why others may give up before halfway but might be a gateway book for Romance readers to get into fantasy. Hopefully the next book is better.
