The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom

5.0

Why oh why did I not read this book earlier?!

when Eddie, an elderly amusement park maintenance worker, dies while trying to save a little girl, who is in the path of a falling rollercoaster park, he "wakes" up in Heaven. In Heaven he meets five people who were unexpectedly instrumental to his life and vice versa. During his time in Heaven they discuss why / how he was instrumental to them./

Why did I love this book? Because of the different versions of Heaven for each person Eddie encountered. It makes you realise how the littlest interaction with people can alter / change the course of your life forever (example with the Blue Man that Eddie can hardly remember as he was just a boy). This book is ultimately about forgiveness and accepting life for what it is and how we are all on some path but we just don't know it yet.

I was sobbing my heart out by the end of this book and if you weren't then do you even have any feelings?!
