So many characters mixed with so many emotions. I love how this book tackles cultural and generational beliefs through a gut wrenching revenge plot. These characters deal with topics of racism, homophobia, and transphobia while also grieving their sons, how they treated their sons, and striving towards being a better person with blood on their hands. This is definitely one of those books that I wish I had read sooner.
