At first, Rhett and Summer's story seemed slow, and I worried it wouldn't meet my expectations. However, it gradually gained momentum and turned into an enjoyable ride.

While I adored Summer, it was Rhett who stole my heart. His character development was remarkable; He was sweet, tender and swoony a bit rough around the edges which made him irresistible. He set a high standard for the other Chestnut Springs boys. I can say that for sure.

Summer's relationship with her father was both endearing and unique, and I liked their dynamic. I wish there had been more focus on Rhett's family reunion at the end.
Though it didn't keep me on the edge of my seat, it was still a charming story.
