Graduation Day by Joelle Charbonneau

5.0

There is a feeling when you finish a really good book series, it’s halfway between joy and sadness. Joy because the series was amazing and sadness because it’s over. Currently, I am feeling that way because I just finished Joelle Charbonneau’s The Testing series. Graduation Day was wonderful. Finally I read a series where the ending had yet to be ruined for me and I was surprised at all the right times. Charbonneau is a great writer. I hope she continues to write books because this series was absolutely incredible. The character and plot developments were brilliant and the book was paced well. While it resembles The Hunger Games or even The Maze Runner series, it branched out in completely different directions and didn’t have a love triangle (I can’t explain how much I dislike those). I’m still in shock that I began from only somewhat liking this series to loving it. I highly recommend this series to all fans of dystopias.
