The Distance Between Us by Kasie West

UPDATE 1:
thoughts to come when it isn’t 1am

UPDATE 2:
I LIVED FOR THAT SARCASM. The thing about plots you expect to be cliche, you just get to enjoy the story for what it is, without being too critical about technical plot points (for me, at least). The thing about Kasie West books is you EXPECT it to be cliche, so it is SO MUCH better when she adds that extra little something special you might have not expected ;)
my favorite kind of contemporary romance stories are those wherein the characters just naturally have that chemistry and the author just writes them like that, not the forced kind, the kind wherein they brush off each other without thinking of it and the author doesn’t romanticize it. it’s just a friend thing and that’s how it's supposed to be in real life.
This was definitely an easy romantic read and I enjoyed the way Kasie West writes but here it was just a bit incosistent. I really enjoyed the story and this is something I would recommend to ya romance readers who are just in need of those stories. The kind that you just want to enjoy and something that makes you feel that tingly feeling.
