Here's a review that sums up my feelings about this book better than I could
I'm still quite new to the romance genre and discovering what I like, but I think I've had my fill of Courtney Milan's work and am ready to move on to someone else.
I thought this book would hold my interest more firmly than it did, but it just didn't feel as well-edited as her Brothers Sinister series was. Plus,

"Jeremy." There was a hint of reproach in her voice.
This sentence appeared twice in the same chapter (and once in a later one). And then in that same part,
"Jeremy." She had said his name twice now, each time differently. He didn't know if it was reproach, a request to stop, or her condolences.
*sighs*

"Chloe." There was a hint of reproach in his voice.
