The Late Mattia Pascal by Luigi Pirandello

3.0

An enjoyable read; I'm thankful for the NYRB series for presenting the modern English-speaking audience with such creative titles. A tragic comedy in the classic style, the protagonist is both endearing and insufferable; the bizarre situations in which he finds himself are quite entertaining. A book that it reminded me of is "Confederacy of Dunces" -- for those that enjoy that type of thing, I offer a solid recommendation.
