What really got me about this book is how obvious what was happening was yet Mauve was duped every time. I guess that’s what happens when you’re being gaslit. I agree with some of the reviews that felt like the author was throwing a lot of flashy dark things out to see what might appeal, but I went for some of them. A LOT of triggering subjects though.
