We Are the Brennans is a story about the Brennan family and how each of the family member have their own secret to tell.
The Brennans family is far from perfect but I admire how they will always have each other back no matter what happens.
This story is told in multiple POVs which I think was a great touch so the readers can get to know the characters better from their own perspective.
I really like the unique pattern I spotted, having the last sentence of the previous chapter become the first line on the next chapter.
There’s a dash of romance thrown in this story about Sunday and her ex-fiancee – Kale. I adore their interaction back when they’re in high-school, they’re so good together.
I would’ve love to see a novella about what happens after this book especially about their relationship.
Overall, this was a nice emotional read that comes with a quite satisfying ending. I enjoyed my time reading this one huge complex of a family.
If you’re looking for a family drama with strong sibling relationship then I suggest picking this one up!
Graphic: Miscarriage, Car accident, and Alcohol
