Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas
3.0
"She didn't open her eyes but she breathed in the smell of him, the pine and snow, and her pain settled."
UPDATE: 6/21/19 I think this was mostly a guilty pleasure read to me and I only ever loved the ending to these books and not really the in-between stuff. It's safe to say that I have no interest in continuing this series even though I initially really liked it.
THAT CLIFFHANGER THO!!
OHMYGOD I LOVE THIS BOOK! it took me so long to finish the whole thing cuz the I found the first part boring as usual when it comes to these books. . . BUT THE ENDING!
Spoiler
I am so happy that the ending did not let me down and the read was definitely worth it. I finished the last 15% of this book in one sitting after having started this book so many months ago. And can I just say how much I love Rowan and Aelin's relationship? I don't know how if I ship them as friends or as a couple yet but I definitely don't want him to die and I can't wait for what's more to come for them.
The ending is so similar to CoM I wanted to scream.
