Cat Burglar Black by Richard Sala
5.0
I went into this having absolutely no expectations, I was merely intrigued by the plot, but I ended up loving this book so much! And to be honest the main reason why is because I love mysterious schools and cartoonish art. I really liked the students, they made me feel like I was reading a YA novel, until any of the adults appeared then I felt like I should be reading to a bunch of kids for story time, I felt that way as I read the ending, too. Now I know what happened to the girls is fairly self explanatory, but I'm just dying for a sequel. I want to learn more about the statue, and K's parent's, the residents of Moorlock's Gate, and what exactly happened to Dr. Kuvac . Unless Richard Sala is an M Night Shyamalan type who likes to leave his consumers hanging, in which case I will sadly have to stop myself from reading any of his other books, as I hate being left hanging
