I've read a lot of books about psychoactive substances, so a lot of what I read in this book was more of a refresher on things I have read before. That being said it was a great insight into Albert Hofmann's mind. It was refreshing to read the perspective of a chemist and not have it be overly optimistic or idealistic as I feel other experts on the subject often come across.
