Most who loved the Mortal Instruments said the Bane Chronicles wasn’t up to Cassandra Clare’s standards and was bad etc etc. But here I am thinking the Mortal Instruments was trash - aka i hated Clary.
I found this book not only to be hilarious, learn more about Magnus and the legacies of Shadowhunters but to also be an exploration on what it is it to be immortal. The way this affects your life, the whole love life thing was overdone, but the theme itself was very interesting.
Plus we got more Herondale and Tessa content and the link between Gray and Fray and Fairchilds
