Forbidden is one of the best omegaverse novels I have read in a long time. I am always trying to find an omegaverse novel with all the things I love about omegaverse but also with enough substance for it to feel like a story for me. Forbidden had that! The first part of the book was incredible. I thought it was going to be a 5 star read for sure, but the middle part of the book did drag a bit. I loved all of it, but the slow middle tempered my feelings for a bit.
I loved each of the guys. Theo is intense and caring, Ben is lighthearted and so sweet and Cam is growly but also a cinnamon roll. I wanted Josie to bond with them so badly. I can't wait for that moment to come and for her next heat to hit because they were so respectful during her first one and she barely knew them so it doesn't count as a true heat frenzy for me. It was wonderful and I was so happy it happened that way for her, but now that she knows the guys- I am ready for more!
If you are looking for a really good omegaverse with great character development and a dystopian government plot that looks like it is going to take center stage in the next book, then the Luna & Sol duet is one you need to check out. I have read so many bad omegaverse novels that Forbidden finally gave me what I was looking for. This is a great book.
