This was a really fun look at bringing a little bit of earth life into the encampment with the aliens. The funny things misunderstandings with mistletoe and other small things make this story really charming.
We also are dealing with the delivery of Georgie's baby finally, and that was a beautiful thing to read for sure.
We also get a true romance for Clare, who has been living with one of the aliens since she got there. There was never any resonance, and so she leaves, because he is starting to become manipulative and abusive. An alien named Ereven steps in, and starts to court Clare, to help Bek understand that she isn't coming back to him. Through their connection, Ereven and Clare find happiness, and it was such an excellent way for things to happen for her.
