I like this one both less and more than the previous??? Who knows. It's a much more straightforward thriller, and I would honestly have liked MORE archaeology than merely the protagonist's profession. I also could have done with a lot less US Military nonsense. But I liked both main characters and appreciated that they had a relationship where, for the most part, they trusted each other. Less over focus on sex would have been preferable for me personally but this is a romance, so what can you do, right?
