I love alternate world tales and saw plenty of hype online about this story. I haven't read all of the lead ins to the story, or the aftermath, but I think this was decently self contained. Doom has stolen the power of the Beyonders and has become God in an effort to save existence. He has taken small pieces of existing universes to create a patchwork reality (Battleworld) where an army of Thors serve as his Law, plenty of recognizable Marvel faces rule sections of the world, and where Doom's rulings finally serve as the final word on any topic. Something seems "off" about Battleworld though, and the residents are starting to question their reality. Who will be there to set things right and put Doom back in his place? What happened to the good (and bad) guys? Read this and find out! I've become, like most folks, a huge fan of Esad Ribic's art. Regardless of your thoughts on the story here - the art is fantastic from start to finish.
