Who in the World Is Carmen Sandiego? by Rebecca Tinker
I think a lot of people who have left reviews for this are right in that this story plays better on screen than off. With the whole a picture is worth a thousand words idea, this book is really facing the problem of doing that in reverse. I will say that as the story goes on it does become easier to read and enjoy when you let yourself be in the book rather than the show, so this all unfortunately really just has to do with having loved and watched the show so much. In any case, since I do love the show so much I wanted to get my hand on any oficial material so I’m glad to have this even if it is for younger readers. Maybe I’ll get to read it to my own children one day so they can love the character of Carmen Sandiego just as much as I do.
