The Little Ghost by Otfried Preußler

5.0

A classic German childrens book I just happened to stumble upon, and I am so glad I did. It was really cute! Even though it is about a ghost it is never scary. There were cool elements that you don't typically find in stories about ghosts. Such as the difference between day/night ghosts. Or how this little ghost in particular has a set of magical keys to open things and can't just float through walls. The story was great for a child's reading level, but the artwork really stole the show! All the illustrations were drawn in plain black ink and the buildings are all so detailed. I truely enjoyed the arwork in this book a lot!
