Something More by Jackie Khalilieh

I absolutely enjoyed this book! I saw so much of myself in Jessie. We follow Jessie, a Palestinian-Canadian, during her first year of high school and as she navigates her autism diagnosis. I had trouble fitting in, felt misunderstood, and had a hard time finding friends who had similar interests. So those parts of the book hit close to home for me. There is a love triangle in this book, and we see Jessie have to make decisions for herself to learn lessons independently. We all have been there! Being a teenager is hard, especially when you are first generation and navigating two worlds, which I also relared to.
