Because of Low by Abbi Glines

3.0

So I must say this book was waaaaaaaaay better than Sea Breeze #1, which was relief and I'm so happy because I really wanted to like this series

We get to hang out with Marcus, who I really liked from the 1st book (maybe the only person I really liked from the first book...).

When Marcus should really be at college, his father is stirring up a crisis at home in Sea Breeze with a younger woman and he's forced to return home to support his family. I really loved Marcus in Sea Breeze #1 because he was someone who was super cute and sweet and just like a genuinely down-to-earth person.
Marcus ends up slumming it in his friend's apartment, Cage.... (Cage.... :3)

Then we meet Willow. Again, a super genuine sweet person. She's a had a rough time with family, with her sister who constantly uses and abuses her, (not physically but just a shit-stirrer). Having grown up with Cage, he's really all she has and he's always always there for her.

Running to Cage one night, Willow and Marcus meet for the first time.

“He isn’t like us Low. You know that right."

But love is never as easy as we wish. Cage sees that Marcus being the rich kid that he is isn't a match for Low, the Low that only he understands with their lower class backgrounds.
With insecurities, jealousy and shocking family crisis' driving them apart, it does not come easily for these two.

Nice read, really great to see Marcus with the a girl who is perfect for him. Yay.
