Cozy and feel-good, A Quiet Life restored my faith in humanity all while giving me that dose of warmth that I had found myself craving. Put simply, it was beautiful. I love when I turn those final pages and breathe a sigh of contentment, and I found that here within these pages.  It's hard for these sorts of novels to ride that fine line between being cozy and fulfilling without being overly saccharine, and yet Ethan Joella pulled this off exquisitely with A Quiet Life.  I would recommend this to anyone who wants a book that will give them all the warm fuzzies or as the perfect palate cleanser following a darker read.
