This one was good. At first I wasn’t sure I was going to be into it since the cover alone gives me very anonymous dudebro vibes or something like a guy who takes himself too seriously because he saw the Joker. Which, ironically enough the main character’s online persona is named Joker.

Not only was the spice really good (love a good pet play scene), I actually really liked the characters. All of Jack’s friends were fun (I’m excited to read more about them in the rest of the series), and even Jack himself was not horrible for a straight guy. And Quin!! So good, I loved her. Chubby representation is always appreciated.

The ONLY thing stopping me from giving this a full 5 stars is the scene where they were at the club,
and the guy came up and pushed Quin, who was minding her own business, and she fell down and accidentally flashed the guy who pushed her (even though Jack had told her previously not to wear any undies). It annoyed me that later that night after Jack found out, he punished her for “letting another man touch her” and showing herself to another guy. I get like punishment in a BDSM scene but this felt unnecessary and mean since she couldn’t help that some random guy came up to push her, and she ended up also being hurt from the fall and Jack still made her use her hurt ankle.

Other than that I definitely recommend it.
