The Nurture Revolution: Grow Your Baby's Brain and Transform Their Mental Health Through the Art of Nurtured Parenting by Greer Kirshenbaum
5.0
I loved how Greer tells it to you straight. She breaks down the common myths in parenting and raising/nurturing babies in infancy from a science and evidence-based perspective.
Coming from a low-nurture culture background, some of this book may seem radical. However, when you step back and look at our species from an anthropological and neuroscience lense, high nurture for your baby makes complete sense — and chances are, it's what your intuition has been telling you to do for your baby all along. It's what we've been designed for, after all.
As I was telling my husband, I'd like to buy this book for all my pregnant and new mom friends, this message is that important!
