I enjoyed the premise of this book and thought the writing was easy to adapt to even though it was historically based. The story was a bit slow and dragged on in some areas with very little drama and when we did get the drama it was over within a few pages and didn't give long enough for us to feel the full amount of emotions the scenes should have caused. all in all if your looking for a witchy Historical book this one is a decent choice.
