She finally gets some pep in her step and quits as his housekeeper and everything so she can be a professional chief. ML is so distract he would be losing his best friend that he tried to reconnect with her but keeps missing key dates. it’s not usually my cup of tea since it’s friends to lovers and groveling trope but it wasn’t bad. i felt emotions and that’s what matters. (personally if i was the FL tho i wouldn’t have taken him back but that’s just me.)
