What a breath of fresh air in my tiring smoggy life.
Welcome back to Stars Hollow... I mean Starlight Grove, where a cat is the mayor (in Felix we trust) and all the men are clingy and desperate, just how I like them. Reading this book really made me examine why omegaverse is so appealing to me and I realized it's in the fact that the men are biologically urged to wait hand in foot on their partners and I think that's a beautiful fantasy too good to ignore.
Eliana Lee is a queen of creating comfy omegaverse stories with just the right amount of emotionally unavailable angst-filled people finding love. I loved how this pack came together as all the guys' personalities meshed so well with one another, picking each other up when they needed support. Logan, my poor sweet insecure gentle giant, has my whole heart and I loved Rome in all his beautiful semi-broodiness. The true star of the pack was James as he provided Ivy with what she needed when the alphas were in their hormonal feels. The exploration of Ivy's inability to say no when people ask something of her hit close to home making me connect with her a lot.
I am so thankful that I was provided the opportunity to receive the eARC for this story because I can't wait to see the other girls' stories!
