The Bell Jar affected me deeply in ways I can't explain in words. I'm at a point in my life where, I too, find myself sitting in the crotch of my own fig tree feeling indecisive and unsure of myself. Beautifully written and heartbreaking, but also strangely and cautiously hopeful, I think this book came to me at the exact right time.
