has so much to say about so many different performers but the part I liked most is just how full of love this author is and how it shows in everything he writes. gonna be thinking about several of these essays for a long while, especially 'Board Up the Doors, Tear Down the Walls' (my heart is in punk music and always has been) and 'On the Performance of Softness'
