I really enjoyed this one. I think it’s one of the best Sanderson novels I’ve read to date. It’s a faster pace than most of his books, very action-oriented, but with the character development and fascinating worldbuilding I’ve come to expect from a Sanderson novel. It’s definitely best if you’ve read a bunch of the other Cosmere novels first – especially Stormlight Archive, but there are also tie-ins to Mistborn, Warbreaker, and a few scattered others. I hope one day to read the “connecting tissue” between Stormlight Archive and Sunlit Man. There’s definitely a story in there that I hope Sanderson will tell one day in his continuing exploration of the Cosmere.
