as a self proclaimed liker of heavy music, this book felt pretentious in a way i cannot explain. i didn't like any of these characters pretty early on and i Really didn't like them by the end either. i know the main character here is kip right, but it feels like all these characters were at each others throats trying to claim themselves as the sole main character. does this make sense.
