This debut novel has an intriguing plot line.  Unfortunately I decided to DNF for a few reasons.  First, the writing tended to jump ahead and move quickly which made it hard to follow.  It also made some of the character's actions make less sense and have less weight to them.  I just wasn't buying in to the character motivations.   Also, there was a major plot line that happened before the start of the book.  I wish we had seen the event because it would have made the character's feelings more real.
