As a very brief capsule of my feelings - this is incredible for a first published work, you can genuinely see how much thought goes into the story, the characters all feel lively, some jumping off the page more than others. Some of the characterisation does drag ever so slightly, and in the midline a few paragraphs ended up feeling like they were being repeated over and over, dragging the story to a crawl. I would highly recommend on the creative ideas alone though, the ending, as always by Brandon Sanderson, makes the entire journey worth it. You just have to get there first.
