“Through happiness and destruction.”
“No more falling asleep unless you’re the last sight i see.”
Wow!! What a book. Absolutely a beautiful love story. I’ve cried, laughed, loved, & even got upset. This book is family, community, culture, passion, pain, love and everyone is human.
-Chachi and Ronnie were too funny.
-I like Zeke but that day he couldn’t close his loud mouth pissed me off.
-Santi was so sweet, kind and gentle.
-Ander was passionate, bold, beautiful and protective.
-The family was doing what families should do.
-Pages 240 to 245 broke me.
-The school is Chicago was trash or whoever that man was respecting them. With their micro aggressions and racism trying to keep Ander in a box.
From first page to last i fell in love with a book.
