you would not believe how excited i was for this book, ive been wanting a Nadya book since she was introduced so this was awesome (also i just love reptiles, including turtles).
the world didn’t stand out to me quite as much as other Wayward Children books (this + the drowned gods world just feel kinda similar to me), but i liked it perfectly fine. 
the concept of how basically every layer of the world has water, the difference was just how light vs. heavy of water it was was awesome. super creative i liked that :)
