4.75 stars for the feels. No, but this felt like I was reading The Hunger Games combined with the Red Queen series. Some aspects did feel like a bit of a rip off but I ignored this, because of how it made me feel (my usual critiquing fell by the wayside and I’m okay with that). It’s a strong YA book and honesty I feel like those are hard to come by these days. Romantic tension is there but didn’t overpower the plot.
