I might crown this as the best graphic novel I've read.

This was so good!! Right from the start I was sucked into the story. Nimona's character is so amazing! She's a quirky and adorable character who loves killing people and is a total badass villain. Now that was a line I never thought I would type. But seriously, it amazes me how her mood can shift within seconds and her body can shapeshift in miliseconds. She's the prime example of a character who looks like a cinnamon roll but could kill you.

And then there's Blackheart ho's supposed to be a great villain but he's actually a softie who loves science and just wants to take the Institution down. He's all about morals and he's everything Nimona is not which is what makes their pairing so amazing. They're a perfect team!

I honestly couldn't stop laughing at Nimona, I absolutely adore her. Also the plot was so good??? There was mystery, science stuff, plot twists and actual character development as well as some wonderful themes.

Basically this is a freaking wholesome book, do yourself a favor and read it!!
