I was gifted a proof of this book by the publishing company and WOW.
It’s rare to come across a unique fantasy book that works, but this does! I haven’t read anything like this before.
From the start I was intrigued, especially with the changing on the different settings and the descriptions. My imagination was going wild. The different characters all clearly stood out from each other showing great character building. Their relationships with each other were also very well built up and by the end I was going through the book incredibly fast.
I also love how it finished. It could end as a standalone and wouldn’t feel incomplete because the way it’s written feels resolved. However, the author has set it up for another story to follow and it is already my most anticipated read for the future!
From the plains, to fantome, to Halbracht. This is not a book I’ll be forgetting anytime soon.
