Simply put: this is a must read for every human. Kendi shares personal experience alongside historic racial policies and how they came to be for what was one of my most eye-opening reads of the year. I decided to read this slowly, a few pages at a time over the year. Because of that, I was able to take it all in and discuss it with those closest to me. I know I took a lot from this read and I think everyone else will, too. Our history is muddled and so much of what we think we know today is absolute BS. I feel like a curtain has been pulled back and I can see more clearly now. I still have much work to do, as we all do, but I thank Kendi for writing this book and sharing knowledge we can all benefit from.
