The Gravity of Birds by Tracy Guzeman
4.0
“The Gravity of Birds” is one of those books that ticks a lot of boxes; well written, good characters, interesting plot with some twists and turns. It’s a great book to snuggle up with during these cold, blustery winter nights. Tracy Guzman is a very good storyteller and, for all of these reasons, I will be recommending this book.
This book could easily have been double the number of pages. I found myself wanting more. In particular, there are a couple of characters that, as the reader, I would have liked to have had more interaction with. I’m purposefully being vague here because I don’t want to give a lot away - the story needs to unravel on its own.
“The Gravity of Birds” is Tracy Guzeman’s first and only novel, published in 2013. I have never heard of this author before, so I’m not sure how the book originally made onto my TBR pile. I’m glad it did and I hope Guzeman writes us another story soon.
