It took me almost a year to finish this book, and it wasn't because it was bad by any standards. I was so excited to jump back into this monstrous world, but I knew this wasn't going to be for me - the romance was simply too healthy from the start. Edin is the perfect big, lovable, monster. His relationship with Hunter was gorgeous and healing. I just don't enjoy romances like this. I need all the angst and toxicity. But the smut was amazing! And I enjoyed seeing the world expand to become more real. I will, of course, be continuing the series!
