#GIRLBOSS by Sophia Amoruso
5.0
I picked up this book because I'd heard some good things and decided since I'm about to open an Etsy shop, why not. I had no idea what to expect.
But I LOVED #GirlBoss. I love reading books where I feel like I just connect with the author. I have no fashion sense whatsoever (which is why I put off reading this book for so long) but I found myself laughing and completely motivated as I read this book.
Sophia tells the story of her journey with Nasty Gal. A vintage clothing company she started on eBay as she was recovering from surgery (and the fact that she'd never really liked work) she wanted to be able to work from home in the peace and quiet. Now, nearly 8 years later her company is huge. In her book she talks about going after what you want, and really working hard for what you've dreamed about. It was definitely motivational and inspiring. I loved it.
