Such a good book, filled with all the feels. There a multi POVs you’re following and some of the internal thoughts are a bit scattered but I think that’s for a purpose, as this is a book with neurodivergent characters. I love books with this kind of rep, because each individual is different and has their own quirks but don’t we all.
The only thing I thought could’ve probably gone a bit deeper was the overall theme. The sudden loss of parents is traumatic for anyone and yes we got some processing and grieving and for the targeted age I think it was done well, but would’ve liked a little bit more just to show the weight of such a loss. But would definitely recommend this as a parent/kid buddy read!
