I REALLY wanted to love this book. Sadly, that wasn't the case. I had a hard time connecting with the characters, as well as the lore. It had interesting elements in it for sure. I want to go look into some of it more, as I did find it intriguing. I just wish that I had more of a connection with it. This sadly wasn't for me, but I don't think it was poorly written. I may just not be the right person for this book. I know others who have really loved it, and hope that it is just me, not the book.
