DNF — by the 34th page I decided to stop reading. I’d had enooooooough. I couldn’t stand Marian. The “woman hating woman” was absolutely asinine. I understand “iT wAs A dIfFeReNt TiMe” but misogyny is still misogyny.

The descriptions and writing had me really hoping this could be a new classic for me to love. Could it have gotten better? Maybe. But after the awful taste it left in my mouth… I’m good.
