Thank god, the pacing evened out! The story has settled a bit more, and we get more interactions between the main couple. It's very obvious the author means them as a romantic couple, but I like that it's not immediately romantic. They're both focused on their careers. The female lead is being slowly fleshed out more as a character, though it's not like she has a huge amount of growth. I do like that there's a large plot through-line, and not just random events to trigger a romantic scene. I do enjoy that the slow burn is in tandem with the larger plot. Also, I really enjoy the art!
