The blurb doesn’t fully indicate how much of a role the paranormal / monster aspect plays in the story. It’s definitely a large part of it while also not being too much for someone who doesn’t usually read that genre of romance. I had a fun time reading this one. Who knew that the lock ness monster could be hot? Definitely not me.

If you’ve seen My Lady Jane, this book kind of gives the same vibes where there’s a curse and the mmc turns into a monster during the night. The mystery of how to solve the curse is the main plot line which turns out to be pretty fun because the mmc and fmc start off disliking each other. It did end up feeling a little bit too long in parts but overall I enjoyed the story!
