This book so cringe, so camp, so GOOD! My cringe tolerance is pretty high, but sometimes the language in this gave me second hand embarassment. But then I realized it is probably truer to what actual teenagers sound like than I remember, as somrone who is reading this at 26. Once I got passed that and accepted it for what it was, I quickly got hooked. The book is very self aware, not afraid to make fun of itself, and that is why the cringe works.

Grace was a very lovable narrator, and I particularly enjoyed her relationship with Macy. The ending genuinely surprised me. A lot of action and a lot of fun. Excited to read the rest of the series.
