oh my goodness. to be a child in the 1900’s. first of all: the vocabulary and sentence structures are INCREDIBLE. my children will be reading this book and i will make sure of it. just goes to show how our education has decreased. the plot, the short chapters, the characters, all super cute. definitely not like the wizard of oz story i grew up hearing about but i loved it.
